Charlotte Moss Nailed Holiday Decor for Veranda Nov./Dec. 2009

Charlotte Moss used my favorite colors for Christmas, shades of orange and greens to decorate her Manhattan brownstone. These colors grace the entrance to the home in the form of a garland. The photographer is Thibault Jeanson.

The  fireplace is decked out with a garland of gold and white balls and pine cones swirled with white ribbon. I love that the couch is covered in what appears to be an apricot color.

The dining room walls are wrapped in wallpaper and matching drapery fabric with a dark green background and painted blue and white urns on it, covered in lemon and kumquats branches.
The centerpiece is made of kumquats.

The canopy is made of velvet.

You can see the reflection of the bed from the mirror.

The sofa is covered in velvet and the room has a golden glow. The roses to the left look like they are a peachy color. The mantle is surrounded by a green garland with gold balls and pine cones.

Merry Christmas, Ms. Moss!

later.
